Adding an encoder to your project

To add an encoder you need it's address, an user name and an user API Key.
To get the user API Key, login to your encoder and go to "Settings / User Profile". The Key is a sequence of characters similar to "XkVg8KSQu7UyysbSSyQ5". 

If your encoder is under a HTTP proxy you also need the proxy's address, user and password.

Note: Encoders addresses, API Keys and proxy logins are stored without encryption to project files. Be careful about share your project files.

Click "Settings" to switch to settings page or use a keyboard shortcut (Win: Ctrl+P | Mac: Cmd+,).
Click the "Encoders" bar.
Click "Add New".
Give a name to your encoder, for example "Elemental 01", and enter its details. 

Click "Add".
Repite the process to enter other encoders. 

Adding an event controller module to the grid

Go back to Main Control page clicking "Main Control" button or using the shortcut (Win: Ctrl+P | Mac: Cmd+,).
Click "Select a module" in the first cell of the grid. 

Select "Event Controller".
The module settings page will be displayed.

From encoder selector select your encoder name and click "Get Events".
A list of active events from your encoder will be displayed at Event selector.
If you receive an error message, go to Settings page and check your encoder's details. 
Select an event and click "OK".
Main module page will be displayed.

The main page of the module is displayed.

Connecting to your encoders

In Control Panel, click Connect.

The module will begin to display the current status of your event.

You can add, move to a new position and remove modules.
