Modules


Choosing a Module

From an empty grid cell, click "Select a Module" and select a module to load.
Some modules, such as Controllers and Logs, require that at least one encoder has been configured on the Settings page.
Only active projects will be found by modules.


Using the Module Toolbar

Displays the module settings page.

Hides the toolbar. Move the mouse cursor out of the module and then back to show the toolbar again. 

Deletes the module allowing it to be replaced by another one.

Moves the module around.

Event Controller Module

Allows you to monitor and control a single live event.

1 - Preview window with live updated frame captures
2 - Audio level (Bars and numeric value)
3 - Silent Button. Mutes audible alerts from this module.
4 - Cue Out Button. Requeste a SCTE-35 Cue Out Marker Insertion to the stream.
5 - Cue In Button. Requeste a SCTE-35 Cue In Marker Insertion to the stream.
6 - Alert button. Indicates that there was an alarm. Click on it to dismiss.
7 - Control button. Sends start, stop or reset commands to event.
8 -Lock / unlock button. Locked controllers modules do not accept control panel commands.
9 - Input video buffer summary statistics. Click the reset icon to reset stats. 
10 - Encoder's name.
11 - Event's id and name. Can be replaced by a custom label.
12 - Event state.
13 - Processing Time.

Module Settings

Select an encoder from the list and click "Get Events". A list of active encoder events will be loaded.
Select an event from the list of events.
Optionally, you can enter a custom label to be displayed instead of the event ID and name.
Click "OK".


Event Log Module

Shows the event log.
More recent lines are shown at the top.
Active Alerts are highlighted.
Click the magnify icon to show / hide the search field.

Select an event from the list of events.
Optionally, you can enter a custom label to be displayed instead of the event ID and name.
Click "OK".


Event Outputs Module Pro

Allows you to monitor and control an event outputs.

This feature is available only in the Pro version of Broragrid.

1 - Refresh icon. If you updated the event outputs in the encoder's web interface, click it to refresh the module data.
2 - Output group id. Ids are useful for identifying issues that are listed in the event log.
3 - Output group type.
4 - Output custom group name. Available only in Elemental Live version 2.10+  
5 - Output status.
6 - Output id. Ids are useful for identifying issues that are listed in the event log.
7 - Output destination.
8 - Output group control icons. Click them to start, stop or pause all outputs of a group. 
9 - Output control icon. click them to start, stop, pause or rollover an output.

Encoder System Information Module

Shows basic system information of a connected encoder such as memory, CPU and GPU usage. In addition, status of input devices when running, RAID status when available, and PSU status when available.

Module Settings

Select an encoder from the list.
Optionally, you can enter a custom label to be displayed instead of the event ID and name.
Click "OK".


Encoder Alerts Module

Player Embedder Module

Allows to embedding a web video player. Useful to show the output stream from services like YouTube or Facebook live.

Module Settings

Type or paste the embed code.
Click "OK".


HTML Module

Shows an HTML formatted text. You can use Bootstrap 4.0 classes and Font Awesome 4.7 icons.

Click "OK".


Clock Module

Shows a digital clock.

Module Settings

Title: Enter a title to the clock. Optional.
Time Gap: A time difference in hours to your current computer clock. Useful for simulating time zones.
Format: 12 or 24 hours format.
Color: Color of the clock digits.


Image Module

Allows to display an image from a local folder or from the web.

Module Settings

Image: Image web address or local path. Click "Choose" to select a image file from your local system.
Scale: Resizes the image inside the module. Units in percents.
BG Color: Background color.


Web Page Module

Allows to display an web page inside module area.
Note: Web pages that make heavy use of JavaScript or plugins like Adobe Flash can cause failures BoraGrid. Test before viewing these Web pages in the production environment.

Module Settings

Type or paste the web page address.
Click "OK".
