Before you begin 

General

• BoraGrid operates only with Elemental® Live encoders. 
  
• It is advisable to have previous experience with Elemental Live encoders for best usability.  
  
• Authentication must be enabled in Elemental Live.
• Be sure the encoders and your computer clocks are up to date, otherwise they can not communicate with each other.  
  
• Old ".bgpj" project files are not compatible with Boragrid version 3+. The new project extension is ".bg3".

Minimum requirements for some features

• The module System Info module requires Elemental Live 2.7+.  
  
• Eight layers image insert pro feature requires Elemental Live 2.9+.  
  
• MOV and SWF image motion features requires Elemental Live 2.10+ with an Elemental Motion Graphic Inserter License.  
  

Security

• Information of the projects, such as IP addresses, user's name and proxy parameters are not encrypted. Be careful when sharing project files.
